BLACK LIVES MATTER

George Floyd. Breonna Taylor. Ahmaud Arbery. Tony McDade. Oluwatoyin Salau.

Given that the start of my project was around the COVID-19 Pandemic happening across the world, I would be remiss if I did not discuss the ongoing revolution happening with the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality for the Black community. The politics and policies in place that I have discussed throughout my project are intrinsically tied to how the Black community is being attacked by the current political structure that is American society.

Although I was not able to research the ways in which this movement has erupted under a global pandemic through Twitter, I think this would be an amazing avenue to later look into.
